It is human nature to want stability and comfort. In fact, these are things we crave, and many thoughtfully work toward getting to a stage in their lives where they feel stable and protected. However, life is dynamic. Life happens. Nothing is permanent. People change. Too many things don’t go according to plan, but we don’t give up.
We simply find a way to keep going on our good, nothing, mid, and bad days.
To overcome the delusions of permanence or whatever obsession with fear of the unknown we are preoccupied with, we must learn to embrace change.
- People change
- Situations change
- Life happens over time.
To be flexible in life takes a bit of time, but when we finally get to that stage, we get it and reach a place of contentment in the midst of the chaos around us. We find inner peace accepting this reality and understand the value of the present.
To understand the essence of appreciating the present. The moments, the things we already have, making the effort to meet, love, and accept the people already in our lives where they are at. Also, being less judgy about nearly everything and jumping to conclusions without the lens of context.
It is already a hard reality to accept—nothing in life is permanent. Time is what you make of it.
Hence, we must value and guard our peace and well-being while we can. Set healthy boundaries and be neck deep in the business that pays us. We must also learn to avoid overthinking stuff and get on with things we want to make happen for ourselves…. Even when it is hard, we should, at the very least, try before giving up. Life is fragile—there is nothing like the present.

Nothing like the present . That statement is loaded and profound. Before you say Jack Robson the present has become past. But in a situation and outcome is expected may be the phrase ...at present can be excused!
