Meet Your Host

I am excited to finally meet you.

Hello, my name is Margaret Ojochide Aligbe. I am a budding creative entrepreneur, passionate about community development, transformative learning, building enduring partnerships and wholesome living. My first degree is in Agricultural Economics and Extension from Kogi State University, Anyigba, Kogi State, Nigeria; a Master's degree in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University, Sweden and presently a Transdisciplinary Sustainability Ph.D. Candidate at Memorial University of Newfoundland Canada. I am an Oskar Morgenstern Fellow (2023-2024) at Mercatus Centre, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia, United States of America with other professional qualifications.

I am a seasoned professional with a decade of experience spanning communications, content creation, social enterprise development, community partnership building, transdisciplinary research, data analytics, and project management. I have collaborated with various organizations across countries and diverse sectors with proven track records and inspiring feedback along with internal and external stakeholders.

I pride myself on being a self-starter and authentic. A scholarship changed my life and gave me a platform to reach out for bigger dreams. My personal story spans three continents (Africa, Europe, and North America). It is a story of determination, hope, faith and adventure. I am the manifestation of what a Black woman can achieve after the age of 35 against the odds. In a world that reminds women that age and having children can be a reason to aim cautiously at dreaming big, I am proof that you can begin your life again and chase your wildest dreams.  As a mother of three gifted children, I am on a flourishing journey to rebuild my dreams from the ground up and inspire women globally. I own my journey through the highs and lows, I celebrate the woman I have become.

I enjoy writing about everyday stories. I am a foodie and an avid reader across genres. My works have been featured on different platforms including BusinessDay Nigeria, The Eco-Instigator, Bella Naija and other platforms. I have written for Tagged 4Uppsala at Uppsala University, Sweden and on perspectives at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.

My first self-published book titled "Candid Conversations: Life. Lessons. Growth"  is available on Amazon.

Through my newsletter, podcasts and blogs, I will share bits of my inspirational story as I reflect on trending social issues productively for my audience. I also offer practical help on ways to secure scholarships for making your study abroad dream come true.

Disclaimer: I do not offer admissions, scholarships, or study permits, I only share tips based on my experience. I am not an Immigration Consultant.
