A boy named Musa has a sister, but the dad abuses his mother, and then his father leaves unexpectedly. After that, Musa’s sister moves in with their uncle and aunty. While his sister named Godiya is with his uncle and aunty, Musa starts to play football/soccer. It helped with all that has happened to him, but in one of his soccer/football games, when it was raining, Musa's team scored two goals and was in the lead, but then the rain got heavier, but it was still playable, so the game continued.

Then this guy came and talked to the referee, and then the referee stopped the game and said the game would continue another day because it was raining. Even though everybody plays in rain, Musa's team objected because they were already 2 goals ahead. Even the crowd that was watching did not agree, so they chanted and chanted. While that was happening, Musa's sister was with their uncle, and their aunt was out at the shopping center.

The sister was making moi moi (a bean pudding meal in Nigeria), and then the uncle was watching her because he liked her. Then the uncle grabbed her, but then she threw the moi moi on him, and he slapped her face and beat her a lot, so much that she was bleeding. She grabbed a tissue, ran up to her room, grabbed a bunch of clothes and jewelry, and left. She went on a Keke Napep (name for local tricycle in Nigeria). Musa and their mother find their sister on the road, then the sister explains everything, so they go to meet the uncle and aunt, but they figure out that the uncle is DEAD.

After that, Musa, his mother, and his sister move to the United Kingdom to restart and have a new life. Musa forgave his father, dead or alive, but he doesn’t want anything to do with him ever again.

I enjoyed the brief review. The main points and characters were covered. It was a job well done. But did Ojile have the time and composure to read the whole thing?
