As a Nigerian, I could relate to the characters and their stories. Everyone had their baggage, but it seemed they were so deep into finding the faults in others that they were blind to their own.

The way Lucy describes Felix from the very first time she saw him, it just felt like she already liked him more than any feelings he would have for her in their future. The infatuation was on steroids.

The book has also allowed me to put some of the things I feel now and in the past in clearer context with no burden of shame
