I pondered my tendency to gravitate towards things familiar to my background, realizing I was barely doing much to explore the new world on the other side of the Atlantic I had worked so hard to be a part of.

This is a story of how abuse is disguised in parenting, relationships, and marriage while being accepted as a norm in society.
